I had the pleasure of working with Alice on a statewide social justice campaign where she served as the Event Production Coordinator. It is Alice's aptitude for aesthetics and understanding client requests/vision as well as vendor needs that makes her a stand out professional within the event production space. While this role differed from her previous professional experiences, her constant positive attitude coupled with her ability to execute multiple overlapping events in a short time period proved that Alice is a wonderful trouble shooter, team player, and versatile event curator. She is an asset to any team seeking thorough event coordination from planning to production.

For the past year and a half, I have had the honor of knowing and working with Alice as a colleague and partner. As the co-founder of Revolve Impact, an award-winning social action media and creative company that utilizes radical imagination, art and culture to transform global power, politics and people, I have personally witnessed Alice’s extensive expertise in Event Production and her growth and development both personally and professionally.

I first met Alice in 2016 when she signed on to be our Event Coordinator for a multi-city tour produced by Revolve Impact. She came on right at the start of a tour across the state of California where we produced twelve art and music festivals in twelve cities and in only thirteen weeks! Her eagerness and willingness to jump in and be part of our production team was exactly what we needed to pull off such a monumental tour. Through this position, she helped curate planning, vendors, staffing plans, setup and layout conceptualizing, artist management and event communications, just to name a few. It is through this position where I personally witnessed Alice flourish in her role and responsibilities in navigating both event production, ideation, problem-solving and relationship building. She was a crucial part of the success of the tour that launched a new groundbreaking initiative.

I’ve been continuously impressed with Alice’s knowledge, creativity and professionalism. From producing our tour to some of Revolve Impact’s high profile events such as the #UnlockingPower conference with former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords to Mitu’s Fierce Women in Leadership dinner with Senator Kamala Harris, we always felt extremely confident knowing that Alice would produce them impeccably. Her ability to consistently provide leadership and direction to her colleagues and peers, while at the same time modeling the kind of work ethic and passion needed to make any effort a success, is truly admirable and worthy of recognition.

Alice worked directly with me at Peerspace during the fall and winter of 2017 as a remote Vendor Consultant. 

As a Vendor Scout, Ms. Foy was tasked with finding, developing and fostering relationships with third-party vendors including catering, staffing, and parking vendors. Throughout this position, Alice demonstrated excellent poise and professionalism, representing the Peerspace brand remotely. She was successfully able to take basics instructions and develop high-quality partnerships. The position requires regular reporting and updates with our corporate team as well as strong organizational skills. Alice used her experience and expertise in event planning to execute everything our team requested of her.
